no it won%26#039;t the reason why they did a credit check was to see if you would rip them off and to see if you could get a month to month account. They did a credit check on me and since I didn%26#039;t have any credit they put a spending limit on me. If you had an outstanding bill that you never ever paid, and after maybe 6 months of the provider trying to get their money THEN they will send it to creditors and dock your credit score.

Bills that you pay on a regular - like a cell, or home phone don%26#039;t help your credit. When they check your credit to see if you qualiy it lowers it. If you dont pay for it then it will hurt your score, if you do pay the bills, basically good for you.

It would help IF they reported your account to the credit bureaus. In most cases they don%26#039;t. If the credit bureaus don%26#039;t know about the account, they can%26#039;t include it in your score.
