If it said 7-10days, then most likely you will get a denial letter. What you should check is the REASON you%26#039;re in the 560s. That is the problem.

ANd dont listen to the %26quot;Close all your cards%26quot; comments that will not help your score. Do you have collections? Late payments? Judgments? Those are what hurt. Collections stay for 7years from date of last activity (so if theres a 6yr old open collection DO NOT pay it off as it%26#039;ll be gone in a year, but will remain for 7 more yrs if you pay it).

If you dont get it, go for a secured card if it%26#039;s feasible to get something showing for history.

That means you are getting a letter explaining why you were declined.

With that kind of a credit score why are you applying for credit? You probably can%26#039;t handle it. PAY CASH.

You likely were not approve due to a low score, or they are considering another offer with a higher interest rate and higher fees.

You need to GET RID of credit cards and get your score up.

It%26#039;s a downward spiral as you add credit cards to an already low credit score.

Good luck - and stop spending!

Most likely there was something with your credit report, which prohibited the computer from kicking out a auto approval. This could have also been something as innocent as your address on your report not matching up with the info they got from another source. However, it sounds like you you know there are some dings on your report. You may very well get a letter saying you were denied approval with an explaination. They may have sent you application to an account representative because of the low score and you will get an approval letter but with less attractive terms than the offer you were applying for (perhaps a lower limit, higher rates).

If you get denied based on your credit score, use that as an opportunity to pull a free credit report. Start working on your credit. Be responsible for what you owe. Its not only going to help you out in the long run, but its the ethical thing to do. Outside of an illness or tragedy, not paying for stuff you agreed to is not much different than stealing it in my book.
